Fire Fighter & Operations Operative
We are currently seeking enthusiastic qualified fire fighters to carry out Aviation fire and Rescue duties along with operational duties as directed by senior officers at Blackpool Airport.
The ideal applicant will have fire fighting experience including the wearing of breathing apparatus. You will hold a current CAA or equivalent fire and rescue qualification, an LGV licence would be an advantage. You must be able to work well within a team and on your own initiative.
This role is based on 40 hours per week and is an exciting opportunity to develop existing knowledge and learn new skills.
Air Traffic Engineer
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Air Traffic Engineer to maintain all ATC equipment ensuring it meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop within the section and work with a small friendly team in the Air Traffic Control Unit. We need applicants to be competent electronic engineers for this role, so we would be very interested to hear from you if you have a strong electronic engineering background from your service or work experience and we can provide the specific training for the aviation industry.
