Supporting NWAA

We are proud that Blackpool Airport is the home airfield for the North West Air Ambulance Team (NWAA) and we see their vital lifesaving work every day.

To support them earlier in the year (during the really hot weather) our Air Traffic Control Team “virtually” rowed the distance from Blackpool to Ronaldsway, Isle of Man and back again (224km). They raised a total of £1555

In addition we held 2 Staff and Tenant BBQs hosted by our own Rescue and Fire Fighting Service for the Southport and Blackpool Air Shows and £500 was collected over the 2 days.
