Joint Consultative Committee – JCC

The Blackpool Airport Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) is a structured forum that provides an opportunity for the exchange of information between the airport as represented by its owners, the management and the various disparate operations which comprise the airport and the various external interested parties. The committee is set up in accordance with Section 35 of the Civil Aviation Act of 1982, to provide “facilities for consultation”.

The tri-annual meetings are a formal mechanism to share an understanding of the operation of the airport with the local community and also for the airport to better understand issues arising across the local community from airport operations

The JCC is NOT a dispute resolution forum or have any executive or decision-making powers it can facilitate constructive discussions and help to resolve differences, while maintaining an overview of trends.
