PART TIME SECURITY OFFICER – 32 HOUR PER WEEK CONTRACT
We are currently looking to expand our team to provide a security presence and ensure the safety of personnel as directed by the National Aviation Security Programme. You will also be responsible for controlling access to the Airport, assisting GA pilots and taking payments, Patrolling of the site, and involved in the Security requirements for Corporate flights.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to adapt to various duties, work well within a team as well as on their own initiative and have an enthusiastic and positive approach to Company goals. The rate of pay for this position would be £12 per hour and would be paid on a monthly basis via bank transfer.
All successful security officers must undertake a Counter Terrorism check, complete a Basic Disclosure (CRB) and have 5 years employment history. Successful candidates will not be able to commence employment until these checks are satisfactory. Please note this process can take between 4-6 weeks. The successful applicant must be able to work shifts which could take place on any day of the week including weekends and could be any of the following shift patterns, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am. Shifts would be notified in advance.
You will also be required to complete a level 1 Ground Security Operative Course which will be funded by the Company, further training in Security will be provided during employment.
